Superfoodio were looking for a brand refresh and a different creative direction for their exciting new plant-based Peanut Butter Chocolate bars. I decided to go big and bold with bright, playful colours. The graphics take inspiration from the recognisable PB jar shape, complete with stripy lid. This immediately helps to communicate the familiar offering of peanut butter – now in an innovative chocolate form! Taking the delicious and comforting taste of creamy and crunchy peanut butter from jar to bar.
It was a joy to work on this – especially as the Superfoodio founders, Jag and Nirali, weren't afraid to embrace a bolder design approach. They were delighted with the result and the bars continue to sell out on their website and Amazon. Superfoodio have been approached by various buying teams to stock the chocolate in both chain and independent stores. I'm excited to be working on some new products in the range... particularly as they taste so good!
